Republish or sell a withdrawn Domain listing

Summary

Learn how Box+Dice manages withdrawn Domain listings and how status changes affect listings that are sold or returned to the market.

This article covers:

Overview

If you manage your Domain listings through the Box+Dice integration, you can update a previously withdrawn listing and send it back to Domain as either:

  • Sold, or
  • Current (Back on Market)

Because Box+Dice is the source of truth for your listings, all status changes should be made in Box+Dice. Any manual changes made directly in Domain Agent Admin may be overwritten the next time Box+Dice synchronises the listing.

Mark a withdrawn listing as sold

If a property was previously withdrawn and has since been sold, you can update the listing in Box+Dice and send the sold status to Domain.

  • Open the listing in Box+Dice
  • Change the listing status to Sold
  • Enter the required sold information, including:
    • Sale Price
    • Sale Date
    • Selling Agent (where applicable)
  • Save the listing
  • Push or allow the listing to synchronise with Domain

Once synchronised, Domain will update the withdrawn listing to Sold.

Note: For units, apartments, flats and townhouses, the property address must include the unit number. If this information is missing, Domain may reject the update due to an incomplete address.

Return a withdrawn listing to the market

If a withdrawn property is being re-listed, simply change the listing back to an active status in Box+Dice.

  • Open the listing in Box+Dice
  • Change the status to the appropriate active status (for example Current, For Sale, or For Rent)
  • Save the listing
  • Push or allow the listing to synchronise with Domain

Once processed, Domain will move the property from its archived state back to an active listing on the portal.

About refresh charges

Domain tracks the history of each listing using its unique Listing ID.

When a withdrawn listing is made active again:

  • If the listing has been withdrawn for less than 60 days, Domain may apply a 50% refresh fee
  • If the listing has been withdrawn for more than 60 days, Domain may treat it as a new listing and apply a full listing fee

These charges are determined by Domain and are subject to your agency's agreement with Domain.
