About bulk updates in the Portal Uploader

Bulk update actions in the Portal Uploader allow you to apply changes to all listings returned in your current filtered search results. This helps reduce manual administration when managing large numbers of listings.

The Portal Uploader includes the following bulk update actions:

  • Apply Portals to add selected Web Portal campaign items to multiple listings
  • Set Status to update Portal Status, My Website Status, or both

These actions are available when working with listings in the Portal Uploader and can be applied to all listings included in the current result set.

Note: Bulk actions are available to authorised users and only affect listings included in the current Portal Uploader results.

Apply Portals to multiple listings

Use the Apply Portals action to add a Web Portal campaign item to all listings in the current Portal Uploader results.

To apply a portal campaign to multiple listings:

  • Search for and select the listings you want to upload
  • Click the Portal Uploader
  • Click Apply Portals
  • Select the Web Portal campaign item you want to add
  • Review the number of listings that will be updated
  • Click Add Campaign Items to confirm
  • Wait for the background process to complete

Once complete, the selected portal campaign is added to all eligible listings in the current result set. Listings that already have the selected portal campaign are automatically skipped.

Set status for multiple listings

Use the Set Status action to update listing statuses across all listings in the current Portal Uploader results.

To update statuses in bulk:

  • Search for and select the listings you want to upload
  • Click the Portal Uploader
  • Click Set Status
  • Select the status you want to apply
  • Choose whether to update:
    • Portal Status
    • My Website Status
    • Both
  • Review the number of listings that will be updated
  • Click Set Status to confirm
  • Wait for the background process to complete

Once complete, the selected status is applied to all applicable listings in the current result set. This provides the same outcome as updating each listing individually, but with a single bulk action.

Bulk upload listings to portals

After applying portal campaigns and updating statuses, you can bulk upload listings to portals.

To upload listings:

  • Click Upload All in the top-right corner of the screen

The system will begin uploading each listing to the selected portals.

  • Monitor the uploader for any messages or errors
