Overview
The map view allows you to visually identify and add properties within a defined geographic area. This is commonly used during prospecting to ensure your system includes all properties within your farm.
Using this feature helps you build a complete property database and supports activities such as owner research, marketing, and territory planning.
Open the map view
Start by accessing the map view from the Properties screen.
- Go to: Properties
- Click Show Map
Draw a prospecting area
Use the polygon tool to select the area where you want to add properties.
- Select the Polygon tool in the top‑right corner of the screen
- Draw a polygon around your desired area(click at each point of the polygon to draw) then
Create properties from the selected area
Once the area is defined, you can create properties from within the selected shape.
- Select Create properties in shape
A confirmation prompt appears showing the number of new properties that will be created. Existing properties within the area are skipped automatically.
- Click Create # properties
When complete, a success message confirms that the properties have been created.
