Add a Property

Learn how to add a property in Box+Dice when it is not linked to a contact. This is useful when setting up property records independently before associating them with contacts.

A property is most often added against an existing contact, such as an owner or vendor. In some cases, you may need to create a property record before linking it to a contact.

Adding a property without a contact allows you to set up the address and key details first, then associate the property later as more information becomes available.

Use these steps if you need to add a property that is not yet linked to a contact.

• Go to: Properties
• Select the Add icon in the top‑right corner of the screen

• Type the property address in the Address field
• The system attempts to match the address with Google Maps and displays suggested options
• Select the correct address from the list, or manually enter the address if it cannot be found

• Enter any available information
• Add Basic Property Options or Advanced Property Options
• Click Add Property
