About property tags
Property tags are used to group properties in a flexible way, similar to how categories are used for contacts. Tags help organise properties by common attributes such as location, property type, or key characteristics.
Using tags makes it easier to filter properties, identify contacts with activity linked to tagged properties, and manage farm areas efficiently.
Create a property tag
You can add a tag directly from the property record.
- Go to: Properties
- Search for and open the property you want to tag
- Click Add next to No tags added
- Enter the tag name
- Click Create new tag
- Click Save
Remove a tag from a single property
You can remove a property tag directly from an individual property record.
- Go to: Properties
- Search for the property using the tag
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to Tags
- Click X to remove the tag from the property
Remove a tag from multiple properties
If a tag is no longer required, you can remove it from multiple properties at once.
- Filter for properties using the relevant tag
- Click Select all
- Click More > Remove property tags
- Select the tag or tags you want to remove
- Click Remove
Once a tag is removed from all properties, it is automatically deleted and will no longer exist in the system.
