About company property ownership
In Box+Dice, properties can be linked to company contact records to reflect ownership. This allows agencies to manage company-owned properties, track ownership details, and maintain accurate records for reporting and communication.
Linking a property to a company ensures that ownership information is centralised and accessible from both the property and contact records.
Link a property from the company record
You can assign a property to a company directly from the company contact record.
- Go to: Contacts
- Open the company contact record
- Click the pencil icon next to Properties Owned or click add one
- Enter a consultant
- Search for the property address and select the correct record
- Click Use this property
- If the property is not found, click Create a Property and add the details
- Click Close
Link a company from the property record
You can also assign a company as the property owner directly from the property record.
- Go to: Properties
- Open the property record
- Click Owners
- Search for the company name
- Select the company from the results
- If the company is not found, click Create a New Company and enter the details
- Click Close
