Overview

The Buyer Register lets you quickly contact multiple buyer leads via SMS or Email. You can select all buyers or specific contacts, then compose and send your message directly from the register.

New Zealand SMS requirements

SMS messages sent from Box+Dice to New Zealand mobile numbers are delivered with the sender ID 8238. Recipients will not see the sending agent's mobile number.

This is a requirement of New Zealand telecommunications networks and cannot be changed.

If you regularly communicate with New Zealand contacts, include the agent's name and mobile number in the message content so recipients can easily identify and contact the sender.

Note: You’ll need an active SMS account to send messages.

Send an email or SMS to buyer leads

To send an Email or SMS to buyer leads:

  • Go to: Sales > Listings
  • Select Relevant Listing
  • Click the Buyer Leads tab
  • Tick box at the top of the list to select all buyer leads, or Tick individual contacts

  • Click the Send button at the top of the page

From the dropdown menu, select: 

  • SMS – To send a text message or
  • Email – To send an email message

A pop-up window will appear, showing any contacts who will not receive the message and the reason.

Note: Contacts that cannot receive messages will be highlighted in red with reasons.
  • Enter your message in the text box
Note: Copying and pasting any content or text into the text box can add hidden formatting or extra characters. Right-click and choose the ''Paste as plain text'' option (Ctrl + Shift + V) and check the SMS preview before sending to ensure clean formatting.
  • Tick Send later to schedule the message for a future date and time (optional)
  • Click Send to deliver the message immediately or at the scheduled time

Quiet hours restrictions

Box+Dice restricts SMS sending during quiet hours (9:00 PM to 8:00 AM). Messages sent or scheduled during this time are held until 8:00 AM, and you’ll receive a warning if you try to send them. This is a system-wide setting and cannot be changed for individual offices.

However, if you use the Send Later function, you can select ‘Skip Quiet Hours' to send the message immediately, even during restricted hours. 

Note: This override applies only to SMS messages when using Send Later.
