Overview

SMS in Box+Dice allows you to send text messages directly to your contacts and staff — either one-on-one or in bulk. There’s no need for any complex setup before you start sending messages.

Note: You’ll only need to ensure your Office SMS credits are topped up before sending messages.

Supported SMS provider

Box+Dice provides an integrated SMS service using a reliable, internally routed provider. This ensures the best possible rate and delivery performance.

  • Box+Dice is the only supported SMS provider
  • Messages sent through Box+Dice are automatically logged in each contact’s history
  • You can view delivery performance via the SMS Reports section

Purchase SMS credits

SMS credits are required to send messages from Box+Dice. Credits can be topped up at any time through your system settings.

Rates:

  • Per-User subscribers - 11 cents per credit
  • Per-Transaction subscribers - 7 cents per credit (discounted rate)

To top up credits:

  • Go to: Settings > General > SMS
  • Under Offices, Select the office you want to top up (e.g., Parkdale)
  • Click Top Up SMS credit
  • From the dropdown list, Select your desired top-up amount

A payment window will appear.

  • Enter your card details (card number, expiry (MM/YY), and CVC)

  • Click Purchase Top-up ($) AUD to confirm the payment

Once payment is processed, the available credit balance updates automatically.

Note: Scheduled SMS messages are accounted for in your available credit. The system reserves the required credits, preventing your balance from dropping below what’s needed to send them.
