About temporary text in library letters
Temporary text allows you to insert custom information into a Library Letter when running a template. These fields prompt you for input so the document can be personalised without changing the template itself.
When a template includes temporary text, you must enter a value before the document can be generated.
Enter temporary text
To enter the text:
- Review the description shown next to the text box
- Type the required information the box
- Click Close to continue
The text is inserted automatically into the correct location in the document.
Note: Temporary text applies only to the current document and does not update the template.
